March 2009 brought new ownership and a new location.

More square footage along with more accessable parking. 

The new location is convenient to downtown Minneapolis and major freeways.

The new ambience includes music videos played on 4 screens throughout the store, tall ceilings, ambient lighting, hardwood floors and an on-site production studio.

Online or in the shop?

We like to think we offer the best selection of what we have and competetive prices.

Sure, you can buy it online, but by the time you figure in shipping and alterations, you often times end up paying more vs. buying at COCKPIT MINNEAPOLIS.

We have fielded requests to open our shop to online business but we feel that we lose the "touch-and-feel" aspect that makes us what we are.

We have hired a staff that is knowledgeable about the items we offer. 

We consider ourselves a place for you to get your questions answered. 

If we do not carry it in our shop, we will order it for you. 

If we find the product at a cheaper price, we pass the savings on to you. 

If our staff doesn't know about the product, we have internet access to look into it for you.
