Opened in 2001, originally asThe Cockpit Project, we have continued to be the premier destination for luxury leather and BDSM products in Minneapolis

March 2009 brought new ownership a new name and a new location.

Old vs. New:

While we liked the name, it just didn't make good business sense.  The previous store had odd hours and a sometimes questionable reputation.

So, we purchased all the remaining merchandise and fixtures and moved to a new location and gave it an updated name...Cockpit Minneapolis

More square footage along with more accessable parking. 

The new location is convenient to downtown Minneapolis and major freeways.

The new ambience includes music videos played on 3 screens throughout the store, tall ceilings, ambient lighting, hardwood floors and an on-site production studio.

Parties!

We host parties with our partner, RUMOURS/Innuendo in St Paul, MInnesota

You can catch us there on Saturdays, where we host parties dedicated to the Leather and Bear Communities.
